Dorset Red is an award-winning, pasteurized cow’s milk cheese produced by Ford Farm on the Ashley Chase Estate in Dorset, England. It is a firm, creamy, cold-smoked cheddar with a distinct deep amber color—derived from natural annatto—and a mellow, smoky flavor. Matured for approximately three months, it has a velvety texture and a red-orange rind.
